The 1600 Era cymbals are designed with pinpoint lathing, lighter in weight and darker in color than the 20th Anniversary series.

It's a throwback to the 'K' style of cymbal making. Dark and old.
It comes with a patina for a pre-aged feel that helps tamp down some of the overtones as well control the wash.
The stick ping is incredible. Both woody and silvery.
